Lost River WV became a place for long weekends: nature, dogs, fire, local coffeehouse, and simple living. Wayne introduced Bobby to Lost River as one of their first weekends away. Just a couple hours outside of DC, it was a quick getaway to relieve the fast pace of DC. With the dogs in the back, we wound through the mountains to find a perfect cabin, with all of the amenities of course, with a mountain view and space for our dogs, Chase and Boris, to roam.
At one particular house, on Bobby’s birthday, the cabin became the place were we got engaged. (Bobby popped the question in 2018!)
